Frostburg's Leadership
Frostburg State University is led by a dedicated team of faculty, administrators and staff. Together they are dedicated to serving the academic, cultural, physical and emotional needs of our students and the community beyond.
The President
Dr. Ronald Nowaczyk is FSU’s 15th president, appointed by the University System of Maryland Board of Regents following a national search. He began his leadership of the university on May 9, 2016.
Dr. Nowaczyk has heightened the University’s focus on student success and regional engagement, and launched a strategic plan to carry Frostburg State University to its 125th anniversary in 2023.
